Communications Committee

The Communications Committee manages internal and external communication protocols and collaborates with CHF staff to assure consistent and concise messaging to all audiences in every circumstance. The committee’s role is particularly important when CHF is responding to a mass violence incident and frequent updates are needed to keep partnering agencies and the public informed

Sustainability Committee

The committee works to help the organization become a sustainable self-sufficient entity while staying true to its mission, values and purpose.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee oversees CHF’s budget and the official accounting and reporting processes and procedures required of a nonprofit organization. They review any audits, advise on distributions, and act as good stewards of CHF’s funds.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is made up of CHF’s officers who guide the Executive Director and Board of Trustees in carrying out their responsibilities. While typically the Executive Committee makes recommendations for Board action, they may make decisions on the organization’s behalf when time is of the essence.

Summit Planning Committee

The Healing and Training Committee plans CHF’s healing summits and training opportunities, both remote and live. Along with the Executive Director, the team designs, organizes and implements the master plan that results in successful events
