The Colorado Healing Fund (CHF) is a nonprofit organization that provides various forms of impactful support to victims, survivors, families, communities and professionals impacted by mass violence across our state. We work alongside trusted local partners to ensure financial donations and programs are delivered efficiently, transparently, and compassionately.

  • Kevin Engoian

    Kevin Engoian is a senior manager in KPMG’s Denver office, where he has provided assurance services to public and private company clients since graduating from the University of Notre Dame. With deep knowledge of finance and accounting, Kevin has also shown a passion for the development of others holding various coaching and mentoring roles in his career in public accounting.

  • Lisa Schiller

    Colorado native raised in Morrison, I earned my Communications degree and Psychology minor from the University of Northern Colorado. I spent years in public safety with the Adams County Sheriff’s Department (detention, patrol as a deputy sheriff) and the North Metro Drug Task Force, then served with the Broomfield Police Department. That background gives me a practical, operator-first lens on security problems. I now work with large enterprises, helping them deploy agentic AI security solutions that improve response, reduce risk, and scale decision-making across complex environments.

  • Steven Siegel

    Steve came to the came to the Denver District Attorney’s Office in 1983, after seven and one-half years in the First Judicial District Attorney’s Office in Colorado and in all served forty-four years in public service. Steve currently serves as a Senior Consultant to the US Department of Justice Environmental and Natural Resources Division and the Environmental Protection Agency in an effort to build the infrastructure that addresses the rights and services for victims of environmental crime across the United States. Steve is now the Director Emeritus, Special Programs Unit, Denver District Attorney’s Office. This included administration of the Denver Victim Assistance Law and Enforcement Board. The creation and/or supervision of cutting edge Criminal Justice Programs is an integral part of Steve’s work. These programs include the Witness Protection Program (a national model of innovation by the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys), Denver Anti Trafficking Alliance(DATA), Cold Case DNA Project, Justice Review Project (Post Convictio DNA Innocence Review), Victim Services Network (VSN), Juvenile and Young Adult Diversion Program, Domestic Violence Fast Track Program, Community Advocacy Program and the Rose Andom Family Justice Center, Elder Abuse Forensic Collaborative, Communities Against Senior Exploitation (CASE), the Drug Endangered Children Collaborative, and Courtrooms to Classrooms.

  • Rachel Leigh

    Rachel is a seasoned entrepreneur and operator with more than 15 years of experience building, growing, and scaling organizations. She currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of The Kanthal Group, an executive coaching firm that partners with leaders and their teams to drive performance, alignment, and sustainable growth, and The Job Seeker 6, which provides career coaching for individuals looking for employment and outplacement services for organizations supporting employees through professional transitions.

    Known for her strategic mindset and operational rigor, Rachel brings a builder’s perspective to every organization she supports by translating vision into execution, strengthening infrastructure, and developing leaders at all levels. Her work consistently focuses on helping organizations grow with intention while maintaining strong cultures and measurable impact.

    Born and raised in Northern Wisconsin, Rachel relocated to Colorado in 1999, drawn by both the sunshine and the state’s entrepreneurial energy. She has a long-standing commitment to community leadership and previously served on the board of the Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame.

    Through her contribution to the Colorado Healing Fund, Rachel applies her core skill set in organizational development, operational strategy, and leadership coaching to support organizations as they build capacity, scale effectively, and create lasting community impact. She is passionate about leveraging her experience to strengthen systems, leaders, and outcomes.
