DENVER – The Colorado Healing Fund (CHF) today announced that it has disbursed the remaining $6,491.44 in funds received for the benefit of survivors and family members of victims of the December 2021 Denver-Lakewood shooting. The final disbursement means that the CHF collected and disbursed $99,498.81. It disbursed 100% of the funds it received and did not keep any for administrative or other costs.

“We thank the generous donors who supported the Denver-Lakewood survivors and family members of victims through the Colorado Healing Fund,” said Kevin McFatridge, executive director. “That financial support has helped those who have been directly impacted by trauma access what they need most, including mental health services and support, food, rent and physical rehabilitation, among many other things.”

McFatridge added, “Our mission is to create a safe and effective way for the public to make monetary donations to help victims of mass tragedy in Colorado, and we are heartened that we were able to do that for those impacted by the Denver-Lakewood tragedy.”
